Things that Keep Your Skin Firm

As we get older, sagging skin can become a real issue. Loose skin can be caused by a number of different factors, including sun damage, reduced collagen production, lack of moisture, and even a particular way in which we sleep. Thankfully, there are as many ways to combat sagging skin as there are causes. To help you fight loose skin, we've created a list of some of the best home remedies.

  1. Massage Your Forehead

  2. Apply A Cucumis Juice Mask Around Your Eyes

Cucumber Juice Mask Instructions

  1. Start by cutting a peeled cucumber into small slices and put them in a blender.

  2. Grind the cucumber into a watery paste.

  3. Pour the mixed cucumber into a colander to separate the water from the paste, then squeeze the rest of the paste with your hands to remove as much liquid as possible.

  4. Wash your face and neck with warm water and an oil-free cleanser to remove makeup and open pores.

  5. With your fingers or a cotton ball, apply the cucumber juice to the skin around the eyes.

  6. Allow the juice to dry for ten minutes to gain all the skin-tightening, pore-reducing benefits.

  7. Enfin, wash your face with cold water and dry it with a clean soft towel.

    3. Exercise Your Mouth

    4. Exfoliate Your Cheeks With Baking Soda

An easy way to prevent the formation of wrinkles and sagging skin on the cheeks is to exfoliate with baking soda once a week. Baking soda acts to remove dead skin cells, soften the complexion and tighten pores. Used as part of an anti-wrinkle beauty routine, baking soda exfoliation can result in visibly smoother and firmer skin.

  1. Dissolved two teaspoons of baking soda in two teaspoons of warm water.

  2. Wash your face and neck with lukewarm water and an oil-free cleanser to remove makeup and open pores.

  3. With your fingers, gently rub the baking soda solution on your cheeks by making small circular movements.

  4. Continue scrubbing until the mixture is dry.

  5. Wash your face with warm water to remove the baking soda.

  6. Then rinse one more time with cool water to close and tighten pores.

Elasticity is what makes your skin return to its place when you stretch it. The sad truth is that we stop making elastin at the time we hit puberty. Daily usage of cream or serum containing retinoids will help increase production.

Collagen has many important roles, including designing your skin and fortifying your bones. It is is the most abundant protein in your body and the major component of the connective tissues that make up many parts of the body, including the tendons, ligaments, skin and muscles.

Ladder with sunscreen. The sun is your skin’s worst enemy and long-term exposure to it can cause collagen to breakdown and elastin to degrade. A smart move would be to choose broad-spectrum formulations with Helioplex or Ecamsule which can prove very beneficial to the skin. These products offer the most durable protection, also make sure the SPF level is at least 30.
